Session: The National Reference Center for Post-viral Syndromes

Prof Kathryn Hoffmann introduced the Austrian National Reference Center for Post-viral Syndromes. The primary goal of the reference center is to disseminate knowledge to physicians and other healthcare providers and to promote networking among them. Two centers at the Medical University of Vienna are collaborating in this effort: the Center for Pathophysiology, Infectiology and Immunology and the Department of Primary Care Medicine at the Center for Public Health. In addition to research, the reference center is also involved in generating media reports, guidelines, and treatment recommendations.
