Prof (MD) Kristian Sommerfelt

Prof Kristian Sommerfelt is a professor emeritus at the Department of Clinical Science at the University of Bergen in Norway. He is a pediatric neurologist and has worked with children and adolescents with ME/CFS for over 30 years. His main areas of clinical and research expertise include the assessment, diagnosis and transfer of knowledge to primary care and the childhood education system. Prof Sommerfelt is a member of the European ME Research Group (EMERG), the National Network for Chronic Fatigue, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health's working group for the development of new guidelines for ME/CFS.
