Prof Luis Nacul is Clinical Associate Professor in Epidemiology and Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK, as well as Principal Investigator of the Complex Chronic Diseases Research Program and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in Canada. He has been researching ME/CFS internationally and worked in Brazil, UK, and Canada, and practicing as a general physician and in the field of ME/CFS and other complex chronic diseases. He is also the co-founder and Director of the CureME Research Programme, and played a key role in establishing the UK ME/CFS Biobank (UKMEB), a globally significant resource for research, at the Clinical Research Department, at the LSHTM. In addition, Prof Nacul is a Board Member of the International Association of ME/CFS, and has contributed to various committees in the field of ME/CFS, such as EUROMENE, NICE Guidelines development committee on ME/CFS, ICanCME and UK ME/CFS Biobank Steering Committee.
