Dr Meike Dirks is a specialist in the Department of Neurology with Clinical Neurophysiology at Hannover Medical School (MHH) in Germany. She serves as the principal investigator of the project "Outreach MediCal Care for HousEbound Patients with Post-COVID Syndrome or ME/CFS of any cause (ACCESS)," which is funded as part of the health services research programme on Long COVID and post-COVID syndrome of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG). Dr Dirks previously published the results of a study conducted at MHH, that demonstrated persistent fatigue and cognitive impairment in neurological follow-up examinations of patients with post-COVID syndrome.
