Project description

In the MECFS Kids Bavaria project, coordinated by the Munich Chronic Fatigue Center (MCFC), the needs and requirements of affected children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as their family members, are assessed through focus groups and online surveys. A supplementary survey is conducted among primary care physicians.

Based on this information, approaches to care provision are to be developed. Among other things, personal profiles were developed that illustrate the impact of the disease on those affected and their parents. These are intended to facilitate future communication with stakeholders and support the further development of needs-based, cross-sectoral care concepts.
