Description

The group develops image analysis methods for medical applications. Their focus lies on software development of algorithms, AI and applications primarily in the areas of: \- Microscopy: especially digital pathology and spatial biology; \- Endoscopy: semantic video analysis, panorama creation and 3D reconstruction; and \- Ophthalmology: image analysis and AI-based detection methods.
