Patient-Reported Outcomes

Description

The group is a multidisciplinary research group of the Institute for Health Care Research in Dermatology and Nursing (IVDP) at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). Their mission is to strengthen the focus on the patient perspective in medicine by using patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and by learning about the needs and experiences of people living with a chronic disease. The group develops and validates PROMs, uses them in quantitative surveys, and enhances the understanding of the patient perspective with the help of qualitative methods. The group is part of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE) and collaborates with national and international research groups, institutions, and clinical partners.
