Description

The focus of the research lies in the analysis of the pathomechanisms of endothelial dysfunction and modulation of endothelial cell properties through interaction with soluble mediators and other cell types (e.g. mesenchymal stromal cells). In the case of disorders of the endothelial function, the involvement of auto-antibodies against endothelial cell antigens and of extracellular vesicles in the blood plasma is examined in particular.
